Privacy Policy

BlackSolstice Technologies · Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Last updated [DATE]

Draft — not yet reviewed by counsel. Accurate as to what the system does; not yet established as legally sufficient. To be reviewed by a privacy attorney, with every bracketed item filled in, before Kindava is given to anybody.

The short version

Conversations are covered separately

What you say to Kindava is often about how you are feeling, sleeping or coping. We treat all of it as health data, which Washington law covers under its own rules. That is set out in full in the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, which is a separate document because the law requires it to be one.

This policy covers everything else.

What we do not do

Who can see what

If you share your Kindava with a family member, they can see that it is working and roughly when it was last used — "yesterday", "three days ago". Never the conversations, never a topic, never a mood. Sharing is something you grant and can withdraw at any moment; nobody can request access to your device.

Our own support staff can see device health and firmware across all devices. They cannot read conversations on any screen. That is enforced by the server, not by what the software chooses to display.

Erasing everything

In the app, or on this website. It removes your conversations, the summary Kindava wrote about you, your profile, your consent record, your devices and your sign-in. It cannot be undone, and we do not keep a copy.

Your device keeps working afterwards. It simply will not know you any more.

Children

Kindava is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will email you and post a notice on this website.
